The artist -born in Langen/Hessen (Germany)- started to paint in oil, until he discovered in 1990 the medium of watercolour. As a self-taught artist he acquired different techniques by studying books of international artists. These are reflected in his different works whereas he lead his art to representational works. Especially he likes the transparency of the medium watercolour and its various possibilities to express light. Since 2003 he uses the internet and eBay to make his work more public. He successfully sold about 25 paintings.
